Company Mission
To help busy and stressed men and women learn centuries old techniques to relax their body and focus their minds so they can manage their stress better and live fuller, more creative lives.
My background
I’ve studied yoga, chi gong and meditation since 1989 and am a certified hatha yoga instructor. I speak Mandarin Chinese and have lived and worked in Asia (Taiwan, Hong Kong and China) for more than 5 years. I spent a year in India studying and practicing yoga and meditation.
After 22 years of management jobs in business and social services and three years of teaching experience, I’m living my passion: Serve others through sharing proven stress management techniques so people may live happier, more productive and creative lives.
Why did I start this business?
German theologian Albert Schweitzer once said: “the only ones who will be really happy are those who will have sought and found how to serve.” If I can help even a few people relax their bodies and focus their minds, the ripple effect will beneficially impact their workplace, their families and their friends.
I developed these classes because I have seen the stress levels of my colleagues in Beijing and Seattle spiral ever higher over the years. There are fewer slow periods and the maxim of “do more with less” is prevalent. What happens when you start to feel like there is no “more” to give? What happens when you feel like, even if you work 60+ hours a week, you still won’t get everything finished? Been there, done that.
I believe many of us are not even aware of how much stress is stored in our bodies and the impact of this chronic tension. “Stressed out” is the new norm.
How the techniques will impact you
I carefully selected and tested this fusion of techniques to maximize your time and minimize your effort. When your mind is focused and your body isn’t tightly bound, you will be amazed at how much work you can complete in one day.
Energized yet more relaxed, you can then spend more quality time with family and friends in the evening. Maybe, just maybe, life starts to feel a little more balanced and you feel more in control of your own life. You’ll have your own portable oasis to rejuvenate you.
